A collection of ceremonial pieces generated from and for a space of practice
An exhibition and studio view of a new body of work based on their relationship with Tea, which they believe to be both an artful practice and a connector to all disciplines and peoples.
Starting from natural and basic materials such as hemp, cotton, silk and wool, GGrippo stains, paints and stitches on them to manifest what is believed to be their intrinsic expression. Abstract representations of Nature brief us from within the textiles, calmly stating Her presence in our manufactured environment.
Manipulating fabrics aim to re-establish the original connection with the natural environment which we are part of.
